Welcome to the Tiddler Room

The Tiddler Room caters for children aged 18 months to approximately 2 years. As parents ourselves, we are highly sensitive to the need of providing a relaxed and loving atmosphere into which parents can leave their most “precious possessions” with us.

To support both our children and parents we employ a team of qualified and experienced staff that have a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in relation to working with younger children. We aim for our Tiddler Room to be a secure, stimulating and caring environment providing parents with the confidence and peace of mind knowing that their children are receiving the best possible care available.

We currently support the children’s learning and development by following the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum as recommended by Ofsted and Early Years.

The routine of our days and sessions are very much based on the individual child with the tiddlers dictating when they require changing, playing or sleeping. As they develop and become more inquisitive we provide our tiddlers with more stimulating and challenging activities, such as arts and craft, sand and water play complimented by stimulating and educational resources. The staff in the tiddler unit all hold a Level 3 or above qualification.

Parents of tiddlers are required to provide the following each day at nursery:

  • Nappies, wipes and cream if required
  • Milk
  • Spare clothes

Nursery will provide

  • Blankets and Sheets for sleep time
  • Daily Nursery Diary
  • Bibs
  • Snack
