We have been busy this week in Year 5.

We have been learning all about mountains and volcanoes in geography and even watched some volcanoes erupting when we did our own research. We are going to be having a go at erupting our own mini volcanoes during summer term. We made sculptures in art in the style of our artist - Alberto, and we will continue with his work next week when we will move onto foil sculptures before finishing off with clay. In English, we have been reading Greek myths and finding out about their foolish and selfish ways. In mathematics, we have been learning all about angles and how to measure and draw them.

Spellings will be given on Monday and have been added to the Year 5 page.

Have a lovely weekend!!
