SEN Policy, Local Offer and SEN Information Report

Our school SENCo is Miss D. Ellison.

The SENCo regularly reviews the progress and attainment of all children with SEND. Early identification is very important to us and any needs will be identified from these reviews and discussions with class teachers.

The SENCo works closely with teachers and parents to plan an appropriate programme of intervention and support. Any further outside assessment or agency involvement will then be sought through liaison with the SENCo.

Staff at our school are trained regularly with regards to SEN and any specific training is offered according the need. Most staff are First Aid and Epipen trained.

If you have any concerns or would like to speak to the school SENCo please contact Miss Ellison by phone 01772 732628, pop into school to arrange an appointment or by email on senco@poolhouse.lancs.sch.uk.
