Today, Friday 28th Jan, in year 5 we have been using Scratch to code some repeating patterns of 2d shapes. We used some of our maths skills to calculate the internal angles of regular shapes such as hexagons and octagons. We used these calculations to code scratch to create repeating patterns of regular 2d shapes. We coded pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons, nonagons and decagons.
