Today Silver class have been painting some pottery as part of our DT project. Jane from'Fired 4 U' came into school to work with the children. 

Jane is the owner of Fired 4 U, a pottery studio in Walton le Dale. She has been working with Silver class for 2 years on our pottery project which we do in the Spring term. The children have been learning all about pottery. How it is made, where the clay comes from and how we turn clay into pottery using heat. Today Jane came into school with some pre made pots which were ready for painting. The children have painted them and they have been returned to the stuidio for firing.
